I’ve lived a life that doesn’t fit neatly into a single label. I’ve stepped into many roles and learned many lessons along the way.

This blog is a place to think out loud—to make sense of a complicated life with honesty, curiosity, and a willingness to look closely at what matters. At heart, it’s about faith and intentional living—learning to slow down, ask better questions, and live more deliberately. It will wander through faith, identity, creativity, and the slow work of becoming who I was created to be.

Much of what I share grows out of how I live—what I make, what we grow, what we eat, how we move through the world, and what helps us stay well enough to do the things we love.

It also grows from a desire to share the joy I’ve found in a more grounded life.

For fun, I’ll share some practical things I’ve learned in the kitchen and garden—and let my chickens entertain you.

This blog grew out of a series of seasons that reshaped how I live—through illness and healing, and later through a growing desire to question assumptions I had inherited without really examining—learning, over time, to live more deliberately, more independently, and more rooted in God.

I could have called this blog Writer, Fighter, Thought-Igniter. Those who know me well might add political inciter, but I chose this title because it leaves room. Room for questions, for growth, and for the many parts of a life that don’t fit into a single name.
